After much searching I found on another aroid forum(and the help of an Aussie chap) a few tips. The female flower opens first, and the male pollen comes at a different stage, so two flowers is needed, much like Musa pollination.
To get to the "inner chamber" of the female part, a cut is needed to insert the pollen into the lower part, and the pollen for that job can be frozen for up to a year if proper steps are taken(sealed glass tube, with no water). Also the pollination will be easier with the use of a small paint brush that has been moistened with some sterile water.
It will be obvious if the flower has taken to the pollen, because it won't wilt like usuall, and the seeds can take up to many months to fully ripen, at which point sowing immediatly will have the best results.
I'm so far a total novice, but unfortunatly have found this site totally lacking(after searches) in the topic of aroid pollination, and hybridization.

Round one- Colocasia "Collector Species" VS Colocasia "Jacks Giant"

The "Collector" colocasia is from Brians Botanicals, and it's being used as the pollinator, just because it is opening up before the "Jacks Giant", but also because I haven't seen any pollen on the Jacks Giant yet.
The first attempt was a failure, but I'm thinking because the stamens weren't receptive yet, so next flower I'm waiting until there is a smell, which is kinda putrid on the "Collector species", and wonderful on the "Jacks Giant".
I'll post some flower pics soon, they basically look the same, and I love that I get more than one chance to get it right with these Colocasias, since more keep coming.
