Oh, gosh, we need Lara to come in on this, but I don't see her very much here. It's kind of a complicated process, isn't it? Timing on the bloom of one flower and another flower has to be just right - am I talking off the top of my head, guys? I recall something about cutting a window in the part below the spathe in order to pollinate it?????

Hope you get some good answers here. I decided for now, it was better for me to just propagate by offsets. My Colocasia esculenta Fontanesii and C. 'Illustris' both flowered this summer. My A. macrorhiza to flower, but the flowers didn't quite make it out of the soil. The two I saw bloom are not all that impressive, except that it was the first time I had seen them bloom. I am anxious to see A. plumbea nigra bloom because it is supposed to be quite pretty.
