Nova Zembla will do well in full sun. When you move a plant from a shadier location to full sun, it will get sun scald. There is nothing you can do about that now.

In the future it should do OK once it gets used to the location.

If the leaves wilt in the heat of the day, that is normal, but if they wilt in the morning, then they are too dry. They should be given a deep watering about once a week in dry weather.

Thanks! The problem got worse with the recent heat wave. I am trying to monitor the moisture daily. I'd love it if I could leave it where it is and have it adjust to the environment.

I looked at this morning. Only the leaves on one branch are wilted in the morning. This is also the area that the most sun scorch. The rest of the leaves are not wilted. What dies that mean?

It can mean any one of several things:
1) that you had a damaged root on that side when you planted it, or
2) that a burrowing animal or insect has chewed on a root on that side, or
3) that the roots on that side are dry, or
4) that you have a borer on that branch, or
5) that the roots on that side were too wet and it is getting root rot.

Hopefully you roughed up the roots and spread them out when you planted it. If not, the roots will be or get root bound and problems will only get worse.

It is best to give a good soaking watering about once a week in dry weather. I wait until I see morning wilting and then water, but don't water any more often than once in 7 days.
