HELP! looking to make esthetic changes in my kitchen. My cabinets are all oak as is my wood work throughout the house-UGH! We will not be changing that anytime soon. The laminate flooring will be replaced this spring with hardwood a few shades darker than cabinets, I'm thinking. Any suggestions on paint colors. I prefer warm colors but don't want to bring out the orangy tones in oak. ALso suggestions and inspiration for natural stone back splash. What to do in space over sink? Any lighting?
