Love the wide rails cabinet. What type of wood is it?

    The Cabinet is made from Cherry with a clear finish. With cherry there is what's called heartwood and sapwood. Heartwood is from the older growth of the tree and is usually what you see used in cherry furniture. Sapwood is lighter in color. Here we used both heartwood and sapwood because we wanted the light and dark color mix which we felt soften the look and provide more interest. - Stan Monroe
