We moved into our house ~ 6 months ago and are torn over re-doing the kitchen. It currently has 2 mix/match lights over sink area in a brushed nickel color.

Questions:
1. Too small or too far apart? If so, know any good vendors for a mix/match globe or shade vs having to replace entire thing?
---- also.. globe or shade?

2. Keep brushed nickel vs going to the oil rubbed bronze?

3. Current recessed lights, ok positioning? More needed?

Also- you will note bases of decor columns that were removed on either end and that are pending repair

(I apologize for the poor quality of photos... my phone doesn't take great ones and lighting seemed awkward)

Any input/ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!
