We used a brick veneer. clean old brick first of any loose paint plaster, knock down the high spots, paint with well bond, nail a galvanized wire lath to brick face, skim with thin set, get all side plumb and true, let it dry then begin to install brick veneer. the previous fabricated corner are a great starting point. fill joints with mortar mix, sponge clean. many suppliers of brick veneers.
