Design/decorating style

I am trying to figure out how to "NAME" my style, so that I can work more efficiently and effectively in the redesign of our new home. I thought it was french country, but some photos seem to be a little more country than I like. Then I thought traditional, but some looks are a bit too formal....thoughts?

How about uploading some pictures and you'll get responses. Most homes have a mix of styles. Also what we call a style in the USA is not what someone in another country might call it. Style is very culture bound.

Just create a few ideabooks and collect different pictures for different reasons. For example, create a color ideabook and add pictures of palettes you like. Create a second ideabook called floorplans, add to it all the floorplans that would work in your space. Create an ideabook for any design element that is important to you. You will start to see a pattern as you browse through each of your ideabooks. Also search the ideabooks section for topics like this...
