Earliest cover crop?

I just finished a landscaping project, resulting in about 1/2 acre of bare soil.

I'm resigned to leaving the land bare until I can get an early cover crop in. Is there something I can plant in mid- to late February? Here's what I have on hand right now:

fenugreek

hairy vetch

Austrian winter peas

alsike clover

crimson clover

red clover

NZ white clover

birdsfoot trefoil

annual ryegrass

soybeans

It'd be futile to plant now, but what can I plant first? And when?

Is there something else I can plant real early, that I don't have?

Thanks,

Jay
