I have to say that I have found windowbox planters to be much easier to work with, it started because one year the deer had strolled around my entire garden and ate the buds off of 26 Sunflowers, the next year, I planted in planters closer to the house, each year I buy a few more. I have MS and am still mobile and at planting time I just pull up a chair and plant away, after finishing I have my teenager rearrange the planters in the order I want.
