Also, in the photo of your daylily bed, there is a tree in the upper left (a magnolia?). What is planted underneath?

What is the tree with the purple flowers? Wisteria? It is gorgeous, as is everything else. Beautiful azaleas!

I order my plant markers from Paw Paw Everlast Label Co.and Eon Label Co. and I use the Avery weatherproof labels #5520 on the markers. I also use a nursery marking pen that is waterproof and sunproof which I get from EON.
Yes the tree in the upper left of the daylily bed photo is a magnolia and there is nothing actually planted underneath it. I have Munson daylilies surrounding it. I will eventually have to move them as the tree grows, but it's a slow grower, so they'll be ok for a while yet. :)
Phillip, that purple "tree" is a wisteria, I just keep it pruned to grow like a tree rather than letting it climb on anything.

Your gardens are beautiful! How do you keep the grass out of your daffodil, daylily and iris beds? I couldn't see any edging.

The native plant in the last picture is Viola pedata, bird's foot violet.

Susan....I hand edge everything..I don't like the look of the landscape edging, and if you use brick or other hardscape, you have to weed eat up next to it, so, I just keep them all edged with an edging tool. Thanks for the info on my wildflower. They are very pretty, and love the shade beneath my Japanese Maple.
I'm going to try to make the swap, but I've begun selling daylilies, and am staying really busy lately with digging and shipping, etc.
