A place I highly recommend is Petals of the Past in Jemison which is over the 20 miles but well worth the drive.
They have every type of plant bush or tree and some the unusual you can't find other places.
Take I65 north to the Jemison exit. At the top of the off ramp take a left back over the interstate. You will see a restaurant on your right. Ther is a sign just past it pointing to Petals of the Past on the road on your left. You go a little way and it is on your left.
They have a web site you can check out or even call to ask about particular plants. They have a huge sale, usually in July, where the prices are excellent. You can get on their mailing list and they will email you of any special sales or events.
