Having lived in New Mexico and southern California, I ought to beable to answer tis. But the fact is, when I cook this kind of stuff, I start from scratch! Old El Paso should be fine.

How about I bring some sour cream? IMHO good Mexican food needs lots of sour cream to slather on top.

I will bring lettuce and salsa.

I'll bring taco shells and corn chips for those who prefer those. I'll also bring some hamburger meat with MILDLY seasoned sauce. Pepper and I don't get along too well.

I will bring some cheese. Can't have tacos without cheese!

We have a couple of vegetarians in my family, so I will bring some veggie stuff for them, and a side dish of Spanish rice to share. I will bring a cooler with ice & some bottled water to drink.

Do we need to bring any folding chairs?

It never hurts to throw a folding chair or two in the car, though we've had a good bit of seating under the pavilion in the past.
