People disagree with me for saying this on another forum, but: I grew it last year. It is a very sprawling plant, so the only people I know who liked it are the ones who wanted it to wander through other plants. The few blooms are at the ends of very long prostrate stems. It does bloom all summer, but the hotter it gets, the fewer the blooms. In July and August and Sept, it typically had two or three blooms at a time. It bloomed more when the weather cooled down. I grew it in partial shade, so it might do better in more sun - I don't know. All in all, I thought it was extremely unattractive and I got rid of it.

Thank you for your response. I plan to use them amongst roses, some of which are in quite a bit of shade, because they are hybrid musks which take more shade.

I thought the color contrast would be pretty with pink and white roses. I will try it. Perhaps it will bloom in fall when the roses bloom in October and in early spring when they start blooming. My big spring flush is over secondary to hot weather by second week in May anyway, so it can rest with the roses. If I don't like it, like you --- I can rid the garden of it.
