To soak or not to soak?

15 years ago

Do I need to soak my Okra seeds before planting them? I have been instructed to soak in water. I've also been told to dip in bleach for 15 seconds before planting. I usually just plant them but wanted a faster germination time(if possible).

Any ideas?
