My neighbor is starting the process and waivering between changing it all or just making significant changes like cabinet doors, floor, countertop. She is considering closing off one door and making a larger pantry. The oven is toast and will be replaced with a Maytag 2 oven gas stove. I've suggested a solatube skylight. There is no window in the room. Should we ditch the peninsula and add an island? Any and all suggestions will be welcome.
