Hi. since I moved to mobile last year I noticed that my potted flowers don't bloom like they did in Citronelle. and my tomatoes aren't giving any fruit. I believe that there are less bees and butterflies here due to the spraying for misquitoes by the city, and maybe more pollution has messed them up. I have been doing organics for 7 years.so maybe this misquito spray stuff is stunting them.

but now we are moving back to our old homestead next month maybe they will come back to life.

Our weather has be so unsettled and then it has gotten so dry. I am watering everyday just trying to keep my plants alive. I gave up on watering the lawn that in itself is about 2 acres.

Its been awfully dry for May. The Siberian iris are already flopping over, and grass is already looking brown. Weeds are thriving. Roses are very pretty, but blackspot will hit soon. I'm trying squash again after years of giving up to the borers...keeping my fingers crossed and pyrethrin spray ready. I'm terrified of poisoning the goldfish. Wish I had married a tree surgeon...big trees are shading out the whole yard. sigh.
