I lke Crocus.... The white ones I have are called Ard Shrenk. I like Galanthus but haven't ever grown them but would like to.

I am located just down the road in Jacksonville. You want plants, hit the email ;-).....I may want to put you in contact with our local/global plantaholic and/or the Jacksonville Garden Club.
...or get you in more trouble...........but then, plants aren't trouble, are they?

i have on-order about 300 and most of them are crocus with some daffodils, too. i have not planted crocus in many years but the catalog had some beautiful ones in there so i went wild! some of them will be christmas gifts so less digging for me. :-)
i have daffodils/narcissus that have been returning for many years and they sure are hard to beat as a welcome to spring.

Hardly 300 bulbs, but I planted 20 mini-daffodils and 40 King Alfreds last weekend. To add to the enjoyment, my 5 y/o granddaughter helped. Now, she/we can hardly wait for spring.

Daffodils are my all time favourite. I love the heirloom, fragrant varieties and many that I have came from my grandmother and great-grandmother. I am now branching out into pink flowering ones and have about 100 of those and the frangrant heirlooms to plant this weekend. I too, can hardly wait till spring. :-)
