I have several shrubs in my yard in Montgomery that I have always called "Kiss me by the Gate". They have rough woody stems, small leaves and a very fragrant bloom although it is tiny. It also gets very fleshy red berries that I see birds eating. I have done research on the internet and the info that comes up is for Kiss me over the Garden Gate and the photos are not like my shrub.

Hope someone here can help. I gave several small ones that had come up to a friend and they want info to help them with what soil it likes, etc.
