most productive bunching onions

Can anybody tell me what in their experience are the most prolific bunching, potato and walking onions. I would like to have them in our family garden as a reliable source of fresh vegetables if anything happened that made it hard to purchase fresh vegetables/seeds.

Most any of the walking onions will produce all the top sets and bottom bulb divisions you can use and give away.
Catawassa is a excellent pull and eat green onion but I prefer Heritage Sweet White. its a little sweeter and milder. I composted about 3 gallons as surplus to my needs last fall.
