sorry it took me so long to get back. Yes, this is a green onion It is very sweet and leaves no after odor. i will try to find a supplier. i got these from a garden store in Liberal Ks. guess i will have to do a lot of calling. will let you know. this is a wonder onion

Sometimes, the location where these grew will give you different flavor and smell due to soil conditions. A forinstance would be a Vidalia which is very sweet in GA, but grown elsewhere where sulfur levels are much higher it can be a bit strong and more like regular onions. Maybe you can just try a few green onion types and see which gives you a similar result.
