The cloves that I planted last October have sprouted to a height of about 8". Last week our weather was unusually warm, but tonight the temperature is supposed to go down to around 15 degrees.

I just added a substantial layer of pine needle mulch for added protection, plus I covered it all with floating row covers.

Do you think this protection will be sufficient?
