Might not be too forum-specific, but how do I freeze dry them? I put my first set I cut last night in an open dry container in the freezer. Do I just leave them in there for a few days, then cut up & put in container or something?

You can freeze garlic chives cutting them into small lengths and freezing them in a single layer. After they are frozen, they can be repacked into small containers.

I wonder which part you ate? the bulblet or the tops or did you eat the blossoms. I was surprised to see the unopened blossoms for sale in an Asian market a number of years ago. Now I break off most of the blossoms just before they open and stir fry them, delicious. (and I don't have as many to dead head to prevent them taking over the world)

I just ate one of the tops/chive "strands." It was yummy...tastes like gahlic...lol
