Our recent house remodel involved lengthening the back of the house where our Bosc tree is located. We thought we would have to move this 5 year old tree so DH cut back most of the branches prior to digging it up(I guess it would be descriptive to say it was "a hack job"). The tree was at least 8 or 9 feet tall!
Without going into further detail, the tree was not moved and it is still in its present location and thriving (Lots of fruit).
However, each limb or branch that was cut now has at least 5 branches growing from the end. Help! What should we do?
