finally!!!!

It has been so hard not to whine while all of you have been reporting "I got sprouts". Well it's finally my turn. Hooray....I got sprouts. This is my first year winter sowing...wouldn't you know it would be one of the nastiest springs we have had for years. But last evening I discovered many sprouts in the Clarkia jug, quite a few in the Foxy foxglove jug, one in the Lavendar Agastache pot, and a lot in the pots of Aphrodite Alyssum. I won't be able to check them all tonight since they are again covered with snow and we are supposed to get close to 9 inches before it is over today. Then snow until mid next week. Sigh, now I have joined the worriers of "will my babies survive this". ;*)

Bonny,

I'm another zone fiver who sprouts late, but have gotten used to it over the years. Got my first ones yesterday so I'm dancing with you!

Congratulations and wishes for many more!

Thanks for sharing my joy Martha (I'm trusting you they will survive), Webkat, Tiffy (hooray for you too...dancing together..fun fun), and Carrie. Common sense made me beleive this would work but all the posts I have been reading has really helped me "keep the faith". What a great group to belong to.
Thanks everyone,

Bonny

Keep the faith. It works. It works too well in fact. This year trimmed a few things down a bit in the jugs, but I didn't lose too much. Thanks to WS, I NEED no more plants, but that doesn't seem to stop me. And, I really enjoy experimenting and yapping about the experiences folks from all over have had with certain items.

It's all about experimentation and taking the leap of faith.

Bonny, isn't it the best? After 5 years, I still go out every day to check my "babies" - my DH says it's obviously from empty nest syndrome. What a great alternative, though, no back talk!

Congratulations. :)

Congratulations, Bonny and Tiffy. This must be a sign that spring really is coming. Right?

Well Karen, if you looked out my window right now you would think it is January instead of April. The world is white out there and more snow coming.....I so want it to warm up.
