Aha! I remember that name! With the closing of the SSE store in Madison, you will have three options for locally grown garlic. They would be the two Jung's stores in Madison or the one in Sun Prairie. It's usually available about the second week of September. Their stock always includes the 8 or 9 listed in their fall catalog plus usually another half dozen or so. And they are sold by the bulb or pair of bulbs instead of weight. Thus there doesn't have to be any major investment.

Or, if you only have room to dabble in a few but would like a mixed sampler delivered, maybe you can beg a few off that tomato guy whom we know!

I was so dissappointed when the SSE store closed here, but at least I can still order on the internet. Jung's is close to my house and no bother to go get garlic there. But please, please, pretty please if you have any extra garlic would you consent to sharing with a newbie!
