It's garlic harvest time here in NE PA. I'm really pleased with the crop, but the necks on some of the 'Italian Red' seem weak, earger to flop over about an inch or two up the stem.

It was grown in raised beds in soil rich in organic matter. Seems to be just right time to harvest. Is it just a quirk of the variety, or does it indicate some problem? Thanks.
