We have a craftsmen/cottage style home and we just had the irrigation and lawn put in. We now are going to plant, but what? There is a planter box that runs along the front porch that's 30" deep where I was going to plant rose bushes. There is a planter box that runs along the sidewalk and 2 planters that border the walkway to the front door. I also have a planter running along the fence. These are all about 18-20" wide. There are 2 small planters on each side of the garage door as well (about 12"x18") where I plan to plant vines to climb to the trellis above the garage. I am in plant climate zone 9b/10a. Thanks!!
