Hi Has anyone tried growing allium karataviense or any ornamental alliums from seed before? What do their seedlings look like?

Recently I took some seeds from the seed head of allium karataviense and planted them. Only one seedling came up and it looked nothing like what I was expecting. The seedling looked like a pansy plant. My only experience with growing alliums from seed is chives and I thought allium karataviense seedling would look 'grassy' like chives.

Any info would be much appreciated.
