I didn't winter sow anything until late in February; then we had a couple of heavy snows, burying everything. I planted a bit more in March, but also planted things under lights. Well, when the winter sown started, it was so much fun.....the first pic of my very modest setup, if it can even be called that, and the second looking into the bottle at my maroon hollyhocks, which I had tried for about five years, with no luck at all....same seeds, by the way!(are pictures a no-no in this part of wintersowing forum? If so, forgive me!)
