Weather not cooperating!

I have about 15 jugs that I need to transplant, but the weather is not cooperating! We have another chance for snow next week, and I am not sure how the English daisy, carnations, and Dame's Rocket sprouts will do! I'm sure the alyssum, dianthus and bachelor buttons would be fine, but I want spring-like weather NOW!!!!!!

    Snow? Oh, man........
I haven't seen snow in April in many years......

The weather has really been wild. It dropped more than 40 degrees here too. We had frost a little over a week ago, then jumped to 80s then down to upper 20s.
I had to turn my furnace back on last night. I actually like it cold. That much heat was totally unusual.

This cool weather is perfect for shipping plants or transplanting. Except it's been raining of and on...mostly on .. for 3 - 4 days now.
The ground must be too soggy to plant anything. Bummer........

Dame's rocket will be fine. Mine went out in February last year. Survived snow and freezing temps with no problems. They're about 4' tall now and blooming this spring.

It's snowing here too, so I amused myself by putting my dahlia seedlings into larger pots!
I have planted nothing out yet but have dames rocket and dianthus coming up in the garden, haven't checked on the english daisies-they're under the snow!

I decided to plant out two of a bunch of different Ws'd prens just to see what would happen and to practice my seed babying skills! So far so good. Wouldn't want to baby a lot of them that way, though!

I think that if the seedlings are cold tolerant, the snow cover won't hurt them. The weather is the same here in Utah, it just won't warm up.

I am just so ready for it to be nice for more than a day at a time. I think I will risk losing some and go ahead and plant some out tomorrow if it is not raining! Good to know about the Dame's Rocket!!

I planted out my first two (unidentified) seedlings two days ago and had frosts both nights. But they made it! It's my own fault I don't know what they are, mislabeled the jug as snapdragons, but they aren't. However, they were the first to sprout and they were growing like crazy so I figured I better plant them. Maybe I'll try to get a picture and someone can let me know what they are -- or I'll just wait and be surprised:)

We've had snow in NJ in April, but it is rare.
I know you who are having snow are sick of it!

Yesterday was a nice day to plant out here- cloudy and cool.
My beds are still not ready for planting.
    This Sunday for sure.
I have some seedling bursting out of their container, and I know they really want to get in the ground.
