Very nice pictures Duane. Love the Foxglove.
Alberta

Wow Duane, those are beautiful foxgloves. They look so healthy. I don't know what the last plant is but it sure is pretty too.

Bonny

I LOVE foxglove. I wish I could get some to live. I've not tried to ws any----maybe this year.

Foxglove bring back memories of Germany. They grew outside our kitchen window there. Not sure if I had ever seen them before that. I fell in love!

Awesome looking foxgloves Duane!!! Such a soft look :D
Mine (D. ambigua) only get to about 2.5' and no where near as beautiful. Is that last pic of Meadow Rue? It sure is purdy!!

Vera

Gorgeous thalictrum! You winter sowed that? I tried this year, but got no germination. Should I wait and see?

Beautiful! Those foxies are so cool.

Sorry, that should read Talictrum aquilegifolium.
Yes Vera, that's meadow rue.
Dawiff----I'd give it some time. I can't remember how it germinated for me.
Because it was taken at near ground level,it makes them look bigger. They are about 4 foot tall, though.
Duane

Oh it looks like it was worth the wait for both of them. The foxgloves are gorgeous and so very healthy looking! What are the pink blossoms on the ground around the meadow rue? Oh, and if I sow the foxgloves now will they winter over and bloom next spring?

wishful---The pink flowers are from a rhododendren that towers over all of that. You probably won't get flowers next spring. Mine took two years.
Duane

Ok, are those
a)mutant Foxgloves,
b)are you bending low to take the pic, or
c)are you a little person?

mmq---as I said before--it's "b" bending low and took the pic.

DOH! I quick-scanned to find the answer, then didn't see it. Sorry.

Such pretty flowers!
