Some reseed and some don't. That's true among purchased grasses or those you sow on your own. Do the maintainence this season and prune off the seed heads before they shatter and drop their seeds.

I learned the hard way too Mary. I still have some black moudry seedlings each year, but not the great green army that came marching across the garden ;-O
