Guess some decorators don't bother to "follow up!" The closest I've seen to this shelf (and the one I happen to LOVE) is Pottery Barn. It's a little pricy ($399) but periodically PB has a 15% sale. The PB one has "chippy" paint. My daughter has it and it is gorgeous!

I had this shelf personally made. I took the idea of the frame above the bed and had it matched.
