Thank you, I have done that and i guess I wasted my money on the seeds, I tried several methods and not one sprouted so they are probably old.

bamboo seeds are not common the plants only go to seed once in 10 or more years. some varieties only go to seed once every 60 years. they seeds are generally considered a great treat to eat and not used to plant in Asia, most bamboo is cultivated by its rootstock.
