Cause I live in Oh, zone 5, what is c-bus?

c-bus = Columbus :) There are actually a sizeable number of species you can grow outdoors:
Arundinaria gigantea
Phyllostachys aureosulcata aka Yellow groove
Phyllostachys nuda
Phyllostachys bissetii
Fargesia 'rufa', nitida, etc.
Pleioblastus viridistriatus, humilis
Semiarundinara fastuosa
some more too, but those are a good start.

A little bit of P.japonica (arrow bamboo) - this was actually a trade sent to me, but I was sent wait too much and I don't have enough room for all this rhizomes.

The below are located on multiple properties and each of the land owners have given me permission to remove them.
Arundinaria gigantea 'tecta' - an infestation here.
Phyllostachys aurea (Golden Bamboo) - another weed here.
