Grow it like a tomatillo. No fertilizer. Don't overwater. Freeze will kill, but may persist in garden through warmer winters (like up against a south facing wall), or grow back from roots in spring. Likes sun. If it gets too tall it may need support. 70-80 day harvest. self-fertile

Hello, I picked up one too (for the same reason - saw it on the youtube video), but the one I was the last one left and looked neglected. I have it planted in well-drained potting soil, in a large spot with full sun, per my research. The plant has leaves turning yellow and dropping off the plant. About one new leaf every 3 days is doing this. (it will turn yellow over the course of a week and then fall off the plant). Other leaves are green. The leaves turning yellow seem to consistently be the ones closest to the main stalk of the plant, and then moves outwards, one leaf per week per branch. The plant is flowering though and has put out more flowers since I got it.I am not sure if I am overwatering or underwatering, or if this is just natural as the plant settles in. Anyone have any suggestions? It isn't growing new leaves at a rate anywhere close to the rate it is loosing them. If it keeps loosing leaves like this it isn't going to last another month.
