WANTED: info re: bamboo seeds

hello

I saw bamboo seeds for sale, and wanted to know if bamboo is hard, easy, or possible to grow from seed.

if they are not too hard to grow from seed, dose anyone have some seeds I could trade for. hardy to zone 5 would be best, or dwarf, or one I could trim down and over winter indoors.

thanks for any help I can get
