Thanks! We got the floor tile from homedepot.com. It's Merola hex tile ( http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202034845/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=merola+hex+tile&storeId=10051) that we just popped the black ones out and used them to make this border. It was $5.92 per square foot, so not that pricey.

Katherine, I renovate old houses in Memphis and saw your handsome bathroom in TOH mag. One thing that piqued my interest was the item in the "Project Tally" for the shower fixtures and glass door for $160. That looks like a semi-frameless, clear-glass door that I haven't found for less than $400. Where did you get it?

We got it at Menard's. You can save big money there.

Is yours the Maax Madono? Pleased w/ it? We don't have Menard's here and they don't ship shower doors but I found the same one elsewhere for a decent price.

To answer the shower door question, yes it was a Maax door and yes, we are really happy with it. It's simple to install and easy to clean! The grout question, we used Charcoal Gray grout and matching caulking for the shower but to be honest with you, it basically looks black.

for the grout on the floors, it is obvious where the grout lines are thicker and thinner (because the sheets are not perfect)?
