Yes, and I have had mostly good experiences. It's been a year or so since I bought any though. I canceled both my ebay account and my Paypal because I was so sick of the phishing emails.

Did you know that you can buy seeds on Amazon? They provide storefronts to sellers like OneStopPoppyShoppe, who I used to buy from on ebay.

Here is a link that might be useful: One Stop Poppy Shoppe

Yes, I bought some scotch broom seeds. Only five seeds, and at first I was really disappointed because only one sprouted and it took months. Now there are two sprouts. Still not a great germination rate.

Thanks for the responses. It had not occurred to me to look on Amazon, but I definitely well.

I have bought seeds on ebay. I actually have had pretty good germination rates on the things I purchased from different sellers.

Lots of the folks I buy on eBay from are actually GW'ers who sell their seeds!

I only did it once, and wasn't thrilled. The quantities always seem very small and shipping high. I found myself getting several things I didn't really want trying to make the shipping cost "worth it." The primary thing I was buying didn't even come true as it turned out. It was supposed to be one of those fringe-y annual poppies and they must have been open pollinated near others, because what grew was a mix. I got a couple that look sort of fringe-y and are the right color. Others have been a salmon color and just the normal poppy form, others pink and just regular poppies, too. I suspect the seller used a photo that she found online that really wasn't the same as the seeds she thought she was selling, too. None of the flowers look like the photo. They are still beautiful, just not what I paid for!

I'm a risk taker, though, so I'll still probably do it again! LOL.

Lisa, the poppies are gorgeous; maybe just serendipity :)

I bought some yellow coneflower seed. They turned out to be purple and white flowers:(
