willow acacia problems

My willow acacia, planted 2 years ago, has done so well and is a handsome tree, perfect for my backyard. In the last few weeks, some of its leaves are turning yellow to brown and finally dropping. I don't see a pattern- this is on new and old growth, top to bottom, but not all over. More than half of the leaves on the tree look green and healthy. What could be causing this? Is overwatering a possibility? I don't see bugs, but there might be something really small, I suppose. Any thoughts?
