I think it's an ash. It is deciduous for sure and the leaves look like ash-type leaves.

Neat! I've seen these little eggs all over my garden too and always wondered what they were. I DO have a ton of green lacewing insects in the garden all year long, so that must be what mine are too. It is an ash. It was hard to recognize because the original trunk was cut and the tree is re-growing from two "new" trunks in the form of a V. It will be one nice shade tree in the future..
