This is another that first flowered last year, and it is looking healthy again this year, with two scapes in reasonable condition. Jewel seems to be a good pollen donor for producing doubles, but only four seedlings germinated from the single pod of this cross in 2010. Of these, only this one survived to maturity, so this is something of a treasure. I was going to try again this year, but unfortunately my giraffe has gone MIA.
