I love your tulips. By me the squirrels always dig them up and if some survived and are already up they break the flowers and leave them scattered on the ground. Looks like you have a lot of ground to play with Jodi, lucky you.

Your tulips and daffs are gorgeous! Thank you for giving us a tour of your garden.

WOW What a refreshing spring flush of daffs and tulips. But truly, you had me at "Lilacs" One of my most missed blooms and fragrances since moving to Florida some 30?? years ago/ Keep us posted on that new rosey area!

Thank you, all! I'll keep you informed on the newly dug areas... we just got in some hardy Buck roses, and they'll look lovely blooming in front of the house.

We have dogs and barn cats patrolling, so the squirrels keep their distance... I haven't had too many bulb thieves to speak of.

Cindee, every time I photograph or smell the Lilacs, I think of you... it's so hard to find things that actually do smell like lilacs... candles, soaps, oils... nothing is like the real thing.

A Lovely surrounding.

Jodi, I can almost "smell" and "feel" and "touch" the blooms in your garden. Tulips and daffodils are among my favorites, I cannot have them here! The rain is lovely, also. I love the rainy season in my country - everything is fresher after the rain, even me, myself... hahaha!
Please keep on sharing your garden photos. Thank you.

Xuan

Thank you! I, too, love the rains as they bring the flowers into bloom!

Xuan, what if you were to refrigerate a few tulip bulbs or daffodil bulbs for their dormancy... do you think you could grow them in a container, like I grow my tender bulbs? Those here, in the south, sometimes do this because of the heat.

Thank you, Arif... my gardens will never surpass the beauty of yours, but they're slowly coming together.
