i been trying since november 28 ten or more different types over 300 seeds from 3 different suppliers. not one germinated. the more you stare at them the less they germinate.i real good at killing 4inch tc plants too.i hope you have better luck

They need temp fluctuations. Do a search for germination on this forum, and there is lots of good info, and experiences. Once you get a good way of doing it, you still have to have patience if the seeds aren't fresh. Seeds sowed fresh will sprout quickly, but ones not sown right away take months to germinate sometimes.
Don't give up!

I sow into small pots (3")cover with about 1/4" of compost, put inside a plastic food bag and tie the bag to give a seal.
I then put on a trayontop of my central heating boiler in the dark.
When I have a bath the boiler comes on and the pots get wery warm and in the meantimethe pots are kept warm by the pilot light.
The fluctuations in heat seem to work. Germinated aboutten varieties this way. If you buy a packet of 10 seeds and get 3 to come up you have done very well.....!!
