New Bamboo!

I have a few questions about my 2 new bamboo divisions. I am in zone 6, and have tomato plants, 8 foot tall hibiscus plants, and moss rose (Portulaca grandiflora) that reappear every year.

What I would like to know is if my p. rubromarginata and p. nuda will survive there first winter or if I should keep them indoors. Rubro is 3 feet tall with 2 healthy culms and one culm with zero leaves turning light green/white. Nuda looks like a second year seedling, but I can tell its a division cause I have the stump of its feeder culm.

I have had the rubro for about a month and its old leaves(prior to arrival) have mostly dropped but now there is lush growth with 3 branches per node each with 4 leaves. I would like to hear any thoughts about when it should shoot or if I could even manage to grow it out here in Columbus. I noticed a white/pink looking bud when I transfered it into the 18 inch pot its in now; is this an aspiring culm? If so when will it shoot?

p.s. If anyone has suggestions for what bamboo would work here or wants to share/trade/sell some, I'd love to hear what you have to say - Thanks!
