'Mahoi' needs to be at least second generation in order to have multiple bunches, which means you must not seperate the pups you want to fruit, they need to stay attached in order to actually make the divided bunches. Seperating the pups essentially resets the clock for the pups and then they will need to be fruited twice to get multiple bunches.

when do you pick the banana's from the tree? wait until they are yellow or pick them green? How long does this usally take?

has anyone grown this variety of banana? I would like to be able to purchase it, is there a place that you guys would reccomend in purchasing this variety?
By the way after the second generations do they keep producing every generation afterward?

I'm growing it but haven't gotten it to fruiting size yet as I only acquired it late last summer. It could happen this year. There are numerous online nurseries that sell this banana. Stokes Tropicals, Aloha Tropicals, and Logees are three that I have purchased plants from in the past and are considered reputable nurseries.
