I can see why you love it with all those flowers, it's lovely!! Unfortunately, I can't help with the ID as it's not an amaryllis but I'm sure someone will recognize it. It looks like it should have a sweet fragrance..

The flower is a Crinum. There are many old hybrids out there that are lumped under the name 'Milk and Wine'.

Thanks for the guidance. I've never had a plant like this before and it seems incredibly happy in that particular nook of my garden.

Definitely a crinum. And a lovely one! How long do the blooms last? Eventually they form offsets, or you could try pollenating, many will set seed. Or you could google crinum and might find you want several kinds - I did=)

The blooming process is about 3 days. The blooms don't all open the same day. This is today's picture. Some of the blooms are spent and others are just blooming. Probably tomorrow the stalk will fall. When I cut the last stalk at the bulb, the next morning I had another shoot start. The shoot takes about 4 days to grow 2 feet and it starts to bloom again. Its baby sister is next to it and it only bloomed once last year. I'm hoping that as it's matured another year, I will get more blooms .

I have a couple very large pink ones and they usually (mine do) form bulbils (small bulbs ) where the flower meets the stem. I have taken them off and started new plants.

That's pretty good. I had an inferior milk and wine lily whose blooms only lasted about 2 hours! I have since removed it. They always opened when I was at work, I only ever got to see them once. Nice to know they aren't all like that.
