Okay, i just went out to check and it appears there ARE tiny little blossoms. But I'm still confused because the bees aren't landing at all to take advantage of the blooms.

Have seen it before...I assumed it was some kind of sap they collect
as a nectar or propolis substitute.

Have bees flying around window shutters. Can't tell where they're going. Nonstop flying around. Not sure what type. They have yellow stripes. I submitted a photo but don't see it here.
