Mine didn't but I started it in the spring of 2007 in KFC trays, was super easy, cut into sections and plopped on top of potting soil in 16 oz plastic cups and let it grow on a bit until planting in the ground. Sure made one heck of a display the following spring and lasted quite awhile, first color in the garden apart from bulbs. Rain did topple some of it but not too badly.

But it petered out fast, doesn't seem to self sow very readily for me, and the mulch is very thin to nonexistent (intend to remedy).

Mine is the Siberian orange variety, haven't tried any others.

One little clump is blooming now and has been for quite awhile.

Mine was started this year and a number of them have been blooming for over a month now.

Mine were started this year and didn't bloom...so now I'm patiently waiting for next spring to see them. I hear they smell wonderful too!

Mine bloomed second year too and seem to grow (by reseeding) a little biggere patch each year. Also the first flower after the bulbs.

I had 2 plants out of ~15 bloom the first year. (Siberian wallflower). I love the scent!

I planted siberian wallflower seeds this spring. But i am puzzled by the way the leaves look. Do the leaves resemble corn leaves? That is what it looks like to me.
